less than 11 hours away from...

It's 2.20am, less than 11 hours away from our new show/presentation The 60s Show. The tryout that is.

80 new songs, with all bells and whistles like music, dancing, acts, solo's, harmonies. Not to mention clothing, hairstyles. props.

Kinda like giving your first webinar with brand new content.

Excited to see if people like it, respond to it, engage with it. Some will get an evaluation form, so there will be some judgement going on too.

I can't sleep. The music and lyrics have control over my brain. At 1am I said to myself, I might as well do a run-over if I'm not sleeping. So I did. There's something funny about doing a rehearsal on all texts and dances in the middle of the night without making a sound because you don't want to wake up your fellow housemates

Mum is coming too. She's familiair with singing too, so I'm sure we got lots to talk about on our way home.

I prepared myself the best I could. Not perfect, it's never perfect. Preparation feels like it's never enough, doesn't it. I made some fail-safes so that the show goes on if I suddenly stop. I just want the people to have a good time.

Anyway, I'll try to get a few hours of sleep, my alarm goes off in 3.5 hours. Tomorrow, I'll rely on my strength within. We're gonna sway that place, no matter what
